Artist Spotlight: Bungalow Ink Designs

Hailing from Saugatuck, Michigan, Jenna Quade has put down roots in the coastal town of St. Petersburg, Florida. Her company, Bungalow Ink Designs, specializes in the creation of kitchen and home decor for the coastal-loving shopper.

While buying decor for her own home, Jenna was on the hunt for both functional and beautiful coastal design. However, she couldn't find pieces that fit the bill just right. So instead of waiting for the perfect piece to find her, she created them! After creating some for herself, she was encouraged by her family and friends to share her creations with the world - thus Bungalow Ink Designs was born.

At first, the creative process was an inquisitive process for Quade. She thought back to the skills of her artful high school days and created hand-carved block stamps. Using a hand-stamped technique, Jenna now creates unique designs that are one-of-a-kind and can be used for functional purposes. The St. Pete Store carries coasters, throw pillows and tea towels.

Along with many others, Jenna loves the local spirit of the St. Pete community. The genuine eagerness to support small, local business and entrepreneurs is Jenna's favorite thing about St. Petersburg. Bungalow Ink Designs has been met kindness, and interest from the St. Pete community.
